Mark Fincham

Published on

Herald Motor Company are very saddened to hear of the death of superbike racer, Mark Fincham.

Fincham (37), an ex-marine from Kings Lynn had been racing in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship when he was involved in a two bike crash at Thruxton Circuit on Sunday afternoon. Mark had his leg amputated in 2007 after a road accident and was racing as part of the True Heroes team, who give injured military veterans the opportunity to take part in motor sport.

Statements from Thruxton Circuit and race promoters MotorSport Vision Racing have said the crash involved two riders who collided during the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship race. The other rider was unharmed but Mark suffered serious injuries and later died at the circuit’s medical centre.

Herald Motor Company joins the motorcycle and racing community in sending our deepest condolences to Mark Fincham’s friends and family at this time.
