Win a Herald 250!

The National Association for Bikers with a Disability (NABD) have launched their prize draw to win a Herald Rambler 250 motorcycle! With a single four-stroke engine and max power of 21bhp, the bike has a custom styled design. Wide bars, tan bench seat and Continental Twin Duro 17” tyres, enhance the overall experience and riding position.

The prize was unveiled at the 28th You’ve Been Nabbed Rally in May and over 1,000 tickets were sold in the first weekend! The NABD now have 6 months to sell as many tickets as they can before the draw takes place on Sunday 24th November 2019 at Motorcycle Live. Hopefully, they will have as much success as in 2017 when we donated a custom Herald 250 designed by Back Street Heroes for their draw, which raised £9,450 – the most successful prize draw result in the history of NABD!

Tickets are on sale for £1.00 each and can be purchased over the telephone (minimum telephone order 5 tickets) on: 0844 415 4849 or at a number of events where the NABD will have the bike on show. All proceeds will go to the National Association for Bikers with a Disability (NABD)*

The NABD was set up in 1991 by six bikers from Stockport and Manchester. Membership has now grown to 9,000+ individual members and the organisation has directly helped over eleven thousand disabled people to enjoy the freedom and independence of motorcycling. The NABD has also been instrumental in setting up disabled motorcyclist support groups in Norway, Sweden, France, Japan and the USA, and is regularly consulted on issues relating to disabled motorcycling by the DVLA, DfT, VOSA, DSA, and the Highways Agency.

*The NABD is a registered charity established in 1991 – registered charity nos. 1040907 and SCO39897. The NABD is registered for the Lotteries and Amusements Act with Trafford Council. The winner will be notified directly and full results published in the NABD Open House Magazine and on www.nabd.org.uk.
