WORKSHOP APPRENTICE

We have an exciting opportunity for the above varied and interesting position in our Herald Motor Company brand.  As part of this role, you will also undertake formal training to achieve a qualification in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • De-crating and assembling bikes following build processes.
  • Provide high quality customer service to phone/email/face to face enquiries.
  • Assist the admin and parts team as required.
  • Effectively use the procedures and systems in place to carry out tasks including the computer based systems.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with other areas of the business and with external contacts.

MOTORCYCLE SALES SUPPORT

We have a vacancy for the above exciting position.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing wide-ranging administrative support for Herald Motor Company. You will ensure that all records and systems are accurate, comprehensive and consistently up to date. Supporting the Sales Team in managing relationships with motorbike dealerships, you will provide prompt responses to enquiries and liaise with the workshop to ensure orders are coordinated promptly. You will also assist the Business Operations Manager in managing records and paperwork related to stock, ensuring high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Fully embracing our brand and the style of our motorbikes, you should have a passion for motorcycle industry.

DRIVER & PARTS ASSISTANT

We have an exciting opportunity for the above varied and interesting position in our Herald Motor Company brand.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Drive the company van – and occasionally trailer – to dealers nationwide to deliver and collect stock/parts.
  • Provide high quality customer service to phone/email/face to face enquiries.
  • Represent the brand to the public and potential business contacts at public and trade shows, or while visiting other premises.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues in other departments as well as dealers and business contacts.
  • Be able to follow procedures under instruction and transition to independent work, taking initiative where required.
  • Provide support to parts department in such duties as, picking and packing orders for despatch.
  • Effectively use the procedures and systems in place to carry out tasks including the computer based systems.
