Paint Sprayer

Herald Motor Company is now looking for a Paint Sprayer to come and help us in our Huntingdon workshop.

You will be supporting the operations of the Workshop in terms of paint spraying and customisation. You will also assist in maintenance of motorcycles; Support the sales and parts team where appropriate and represent the brand at public and trade events.

You will have experience in vehicle spray painting either through an automotive workshop or garage as well as mechanical engineering experience. You will have an interest in bikes, and a genuine commitment and passion for customer service. You will know how to operate spray paint equipment and have sound training in maintenance repairs.

You will be able to communicate at all levels, including Managers and overseas contacts; and good team working skills to establish good relationships with colleagues and customers.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Degrease and prepare products for spray painting.
  • Prime and apply top coating using water or solvent based paint.
  • Finish projects to the highest of specifications to meet customers’ requirements.
  • Support or develop project bikes, contribute to custom work undertaken in the workshop.
  • Support the operation of the Workshop with general support as well as de-crating and assembly of bikes under instruction.
  • Provide excellent customer service over the telephone and face to face with reception / on site enquires.

Motorcycle Technician

Herald Motor Company are now recruiting for a new Motorcycle Technician.

As we continue to expand our range and build the Herald brand we are now looking for another Motorcycle Technician to join our workshop team. You will be involved in building motorcycles as well as undertaking any maintenance or repairs as required. You will also help trainees or apprentices.

As required, you will support the sales processes of bikes and spare parts including deliveries to dealers as well as learn bike build processes to support the operations of the Workshop.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • De-crating and assembling bikes following build processes.
  • Provide high quality customer service by phone/email/face to face enquiries.
  • Deliver bikes to dealers in coordination with the Sales Team to ensure the efficient operation of sales.
  • Support Spare Parts operations as required using the procedures and systems as advised – i.e. picking items for despatch and recording sales appropriately.
  • Ensure a professional, quality service (external and internal) is provided at all times throughout the various stages of sales and aftersales.
  • Take part in project work and bike development proposals with practical and commercially feasible options, planning and delivery as required.
  • Represent the Company at trade shows or exhibitions and other relevant bodies to promote Herald Motor Company proactively.
  • Any additional work identified as necessary for the smooth operation of the business.

You will be a qualified motorbike Technician with experience of working in the motorbike industry. You will be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to establish good relationships with colleagues and customers. You will also have a passion for the motorbike industry and be flexible in terms of working hours and be able to travel to dealers and exhibitions as required.

Marketing Executive

Herald Motor Co. has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our growing team.

As you will promote our gorgeous motorcycles, it is essential that you have a genuine passion for motorbikes so you can better connect with our audience.

You will be required to design marketing campaigns, define effective social media strategies and organise events. It is essential that you are a self-starter, with the ability to work on your own initiative and to develop relationships with key stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

Campaign Planning

  • Support in the development of customer facing propositions, initiatives and incentives to drive acquisition and customer retention.
  • Perform competitor analysis, market research and build customer profiles whilst highlighting risks and concerns.

Campaign creation

  • Responsible for building strategic offline (e.g. events) and online campaigns to fulfil predetermined KPIs.
  • Responsible for briefing internal and external creative agencies for artwork creation and managing amends from stakeholders whilst working to strict deadlines.
  • Responsible for ensuring all creative work is developed to a creative brief which is aligned behind the commercial objectives and company strategy.

Events Management

  • In collaboration with Herald Motor Co., produce detailed proposals for events (for example: timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets).
  • Research venues, suppliers and contractors, and then negotiate prices and hire.
  • Design a marketing strategy to promote the event.
  • Organise facilities for car parking and hospitality.
  • Produce post-event evaluation to improve on future events.
  • Research opportunities for new clients and events.

Social Media strategy

  • Responsible for the management of social media channels for Herald Motor Company such as Facebook, Linked In, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Responsible for the design of a sustainable and effective social media strategy, including content planning.
  • With a good knowledge of marketing strategies, you will be able to confidently develop enticing marketing campaigns to grow our motorcycle brand. You will also possess the relevant experience to boost our social media presence and engage effectively with our target market.
